Cook our own meal

Since the meal taken out side is very expensive, me and yann ni decide to make our own meal onward. after finishing buying thing from several place such as China town, London Drug and Yate's market, we start to make our own first meal.
Hehe,,, i am the big chef fot his meal, Believe it or not? believe it!!

well...believe me, the taste is not bad, and the rice was cook using boiler with my special way...which i learn from the TV show...shui zhu fan....haha...and it is really better than you cook the rice using rice cooker, it juz tht u have to control the time very well....hehe....this meal is cost arnd CAD$ 2-3 per person.

Yate's market walk

ever think of how was the market in canada?
well, i had been to the Yate's market, there are lots of meat u can found there. and the market is very clean. they dun have the market like malaysia or thailand, is all in the hypermerket style.
here, take a look at how they sell the meat and fish....and there are lotzzz of variation.
 



See?? they sell many kind of Salmon and other fresh fish, which usually suit to made into Fish'n chip, and the beef where well according to the part such as tenderloin, serloin, t-bone......and some also with sause, or black pepper ...Did u saw the Alaska crab's leg?? Its huge, and also lobster in whole and cut off.....

this is how they sell the chocolate.....haha....

believe or not?? the choc here is even cheaper than lanngkawi choc??

Thx to yann ni fren here, Fong Mei, a small gal 4 year younger than me, come to find us today and help us to get register to the phone here. It is very complicated and troublesome to get a phone number here, not like in malaysia. U must have creditcard, ID and many detail to get the cell phone number. Lucky May willing to register our number under her creditcard, else we wont have our number now.
  We spent our whole day tgther with May, having lunch at Subway and a Vietnam food as our dinner. while, they went to shopping at The bay shopping mall while i just sitting at the sofa waiting for them....dun hav enuf energy to go shopping with them...

well...have a nice day with her today, and she been telling us a lot about the life here. will catch up with her tmr to do some bank think tgther....

Wonderful sunday service

today is 27th Dec, it is the last sunday of 2009. Being new to this place, I had been seaching for a church since i settle down here yesterday, and i found a Central Baptism Church just a street across from where i stay.
  Today Sunday service is all about ACTS, Adoration, Confession, Thanks giving , and S for Supplementary or prayer request. The sermon today were in 3 testimonial shared by dff people regarding what they had been throug in this 2009. and the praise and worship where diveded into 2 section which is song of adoration, and then song of confession. 

This was taken before the service started, where they are practicing the song. They have a very great pianist, the one with her baby behind her. I means Really really GREAT pianist.

  in the end of service, a couple sat beside me, Gladia, or Mrs Dough come to say peace to me, and intro me to her husband, Dough. When she found out that I had just arrive here yesterday, she offer me to have lunch at her home for pan cake and egg, this is the canadian regular lunch. guess wht, Canada pan cake is served with maple syrup rather than honey, which is the famous lacal thing, and it is truly tasty than honey...hehee.....thing u muz try in canada and thing u muz buy to bring bck from canada.

Gladia is a author and just published her book 2 month ago, here u can found more about Gladia. http://www.scriptureprayers.ca/scripture_prayers_homepage.html. Dough is a chaplain in the baptism residence building, pasturing the the people in that area, planning activities and also drive the shuttle.

  these couple spend their noon time with me, and bring me all around Victoria to know the place. they even bring me to my University-UVic to have a look and intro me about all the interesting place in victoria. later after the tour, they send me back to my place. i have a wonderful time spent with them, share about my family and my story, and they share about their young story, their son and daughter....a lot of thing we had talk...
   I'm blessed!!!  this is wht i can really say...the GOD treat me so goooooooooooood!! that i cant rally express my feeling.....its warm to have a fellowship like brother and sister when you are in a stranger place.
AMEN!!

Victoria island...my new place

Finally...after a long flight from Malaysia, i reach Victoria.
here, just give you all some idea about Victoria. Victoria is the capital of vancouver, and is at the very south region of canada, just a cross to Seatle, US.You can also c Seatle from uphill of Victoria. just a short ocean seperate it.
Victoria having the warmest weather in canada, which is around 10 to -5C during winter, and dun get snow like others places in canada. and also u will found tht victoria is most in green during the winter rather than summer because it receive a lot of water. there are a lot of park in victoria which give victoria win the name  "city of garden", and the deer and rabbit are protected animal, which human cannot hunt them, and they leave happily here.hehee....Victoria is also an island, where there are beach  and harbour around Victoria.
 You can take some sweater on and is ready for a trip, winter coat is not neccesary here. and, if u wish to come to Victoria, u can actually get a very cheap sweater and winter coat here with very good quality, no dn to buy it from malaysia. one important thing to note is, muz get a good winter hat to protect your head and especially ears from frozen.
Victoria building are well organise like a cluster, all thing are in square, and the traffic here is always free from jamming. They driver having good driving manner, speed less than 50km/h, and always gv priviledge to pedestrian.
 what else about Victoria?? Victoria is a tourism spot in canada, and can receive a lot of visitor during summer time, where people come from all over to world to whale watching and the butchart garden, take a 1 hour ride to go to the mount for snow skidding.
about the food, dun worry abut it.....there are a LOT of subway here...i really mean A LOTzzz.....u can found a SubWay every kilometer, and also PIzza....all in very low price around CAD$5 below. the is the cheapest i can fond now....

A midnight trip to Lan Kwai Fong- Hong Kong

I was reaching Hong Kong at 10pm due to the delay of the flight. Since it was already late, most of the shop had already off service. With directionless mind, me and yann ni walking around and wonder where could we go to spent our time until tomorrow 12pm flight.
We been walking around and then walk until the leaving hall where taxi and buses are there to take people off to the city. We trying to ask the local abt wht activities can we have this is midnight time, a aunty suggest us to go to Lan Kwai Fong for a walk. Which my bro also suggest me to go there before this.
We taking bus N11 from airport to Lan Kwai Fong, which take us about 1 hour plus and cost HKG$31 per person.

Lan Kwai Fong had amazed me with it night life, a few of streets all with bar, pub and disco. Some famous down town disco even you can found a  numbers of people Q up to waiting for the entrance, and the entrance fee is arnd HKG$ 3++ for a guy, ladies have 50% off. You can found a lot of foreinger there, and all the local HKG ppl with fancy look. There are too many leng lui here...hehe...many of them are very young, probably below 20. What interesting is, christmas night is also a fallen night where many of the lady were drunk until cant even walk properly, some guys are taking opportunity on them."==

we went back to airport arnd 5am, and keep on waiting until 12.....tht the overstay in Hong Kong...

普天欢庆的圣诞节

圣诞节是一个普天欢庆的日子，无论是在世界的任何一个角落都能感受到圣诞的气氛。任何国家，任何族群，任何宗教，任何阶层的人都以自己的方式去迎接圣诞的到来。除了圣诞节，应该也没有其他的节日可以让人普天同庆吧！圣经早已在两千年前就已经看见这样的一个欢庆模式， 普天欢庆！当年的先知门徒如果没有圣灵的启示，又怎样能预料当时少数群体庆祝的圣诞节能成为今天普天欢庆的节日？

现今的圣诞节虽然已经被物质主义和商业意识给污染， 但同时也被这样的一个文化给大势的宣传。 商人以商业手法乘着圣诞佳节推出各样的圣诞配套，为圣诞佳节创造一个更能符合大众口味的主角-圣诞老人， 同时也为圣诞佳节营造一个送礼的气氛。。。。多不胜数的商业手段渐渐的也让人们忘了圣诞节的真正主角和意义。虽然如此，神还是接着这样的机会让这个节日成为普世欢庆的日子。神的作为可真奇妙，竟然借着这些外邦人去为圣诞节作宣传，世上应该也没有其他宗教人士会去宣传不属于自己宗教的日子吧。

圣诞的主角对于每个人或许会有所不同，可是大家却不能否认它的真正主角就是主耶稣。 因为主耶稣基督的降世为人，我们才有圣诞节；我们欢庆也因为这一天我们生命有了盼望。 主耶稣降世为人是为了把我们从死亡中拯救出来，让我们得着永生的盼望，不再被罪恶捆绑。所以，圣诞节对于基督徒是有着很大的意义。

再次恭贺大家圣诞节快乐！！ 让我们从普世欢腾中看见圣经的应许，也参与这样的盛事，并且把圣诞节的真正意义告诉大家。

Christmas Eve

What do u have on your Christmas eve?
For Christian, probably will have a celebration with church member, or having caroling. For non-christian, probably just have a fellowship with friend and family, doing nothing special, or went for clubbing or shopping.

I had a wonderful Christmas eve, going for caroling at Four Season Resort with Langkawi FGA Church, later a very warm and delicious dinner at a marvelous place- mango Bar, then went to Sharaton Langkawi Resort's Chime pub for Christmas count down.

This year Christmas eve is more meaningful as it is a farewell for my own, and with the company of friend from Uni- Poh Hean and his gf, this chrstmas eve become even more grateful. Had a great time with family and friend during the dinner at a relaxing sea side germany restaurant- Mango.

4 farewell meal in a day

I had rushing back to USM on last Thursday to settle some of the document thing, and i am grateful to have this last meet up with my friend b4 my leaving.
Lunch, having a home-cook meal from a church auntie. She purposely cook me my favorite curry chicken. this is a very warm fellowship. Thanks to Li Xiu aunty and Chai Foo uncle and their family for being such a blessing to me.

Later I went  to USM main campus to pass up the thing with William, then meet up with my course kakak- Theng Theng. Having high tea with 2 senior-Jomay and TT in QB, my kakak want to treat me as a farewell for me b4 leaving. So lucky to have such a loving kakak. hehe.

later supper after church prayer meet, went to home town cafe with some church member, Qin Mei oso offer to treat me tht meal. She was such a good leader in our church.

in the later 1am, calling out all my coursemate and William. although they were going to slp, o slping, but still giv me face to come out for a last meal at our hot spot- Riyas..haha.....Wiliam paid for my meal..hahha...

looking forward to come back to meet u all again in 6 month time....Keep in touch always,My fren.

Would you accept the offer?

There was an offer given to me during my processing to acquiring the air ticket to Victoria, BC. 1 from a fren and 1 from the ticketing agent.

here, this is the offer. Would u accept it?

As I am going to Victoria for the exchange program, USM is giving the scholarship including the return air flight from Malaysia to Canada, but we have to buy the ticket in advance by our own money and claim form USM later.
The offer given was to claim a higher price from USM, which if I can take the flight from Langkawi to KL by using air asia and claim the ticket of MAS, the same way to take a cheap flight and claim the price of higher class flight with higher price from USM, and I can actualy gain more than RM2k in this between.
However, i had rejected this offer as I not being comfortable to cheat the money from USM. USM had treat me very nice by given the scholarship include living allowance and return ticket, why would I still have to cheat on her to gain more money?

Not only as a human, and also as a christian, I believe we need to be contented of what we have and being satisfy with it. Greedy is the root of all the sin, said in the Bible, and i equip myself with this principle always. Do not compromise of the simple principle just to get more money, an advice from a friend.
 
any way....I am happy with my decision, and i hav very good sleep on night, and a calm feeling in church.......

HE taking care

I feel so GREAT recently !!!!!!
hehee....people who know me should know tht I am busy with my stuff for the exchange, all from the application of Visa until the flight and others bla bla bla....

why am I felt so Great?
starting from the application of exchange, I am lucky to get my first choice of University, which is University of Victoria. in addition, I get a full scholar as well.Hmm....maybe some will say this is juz a normal thing....wht else? without prior to consider, just found tht application to this Uni does not need an english test ( IEEL, TOEFL), which may cost a lot, plus more the Visa to Canada is very cheap compare to other country......

Regarding thing to be settle there, Thanks God that I found a wonderful, cheap and amazing hostel, providing great environment for people like me. There is a club in UVic which collecting unwanted bicycle and given it out for free for whoever wan it, does this sound amazing? settle the accomodationa nd transport. 
Coming up with my interest, looking for a church.  I found a Emmanuel Baptist Church just oppposite the Uvic, and hav a contact with the person in charge. Joshua Wang, one of the worker in EBC had contact with me , and offer to help. Fell so GREAT!!

During my application for Visa, I manage to settle everything in just 1 day in KL. Refer to my previous blog, I am lucky that everything was work so smooth, have a good and friendly guard and operator , and even have a very good gathering with my lovely friend.

last, to settle the flight booking. It is a very last moment, but I met my old frend which work in the travel agent. She  manage to help me to get a very good time and good price of flight.....fly on 25th dec, christmas time....mange to celebrate christmas eve and christmas service on the morning.........then hav my new year there.....everything was seen so order and preare for me....

Thanks GOD ............HE taking care of all the thing I put in prayer........

举起指头一数，时间过得真快， 一年就快过去了。

我最近过得很不错，已经辞去了繁忙的工作，准备往下一站飞翔。
没有工作的日子，唱着往昔的《任逍遥》，随处漂泊，到处停留也才刚刚找到了站脚处。
慢慢开始了方程式的生活，这就是你说过的安定吗？也许吧。
人总要活在现实的生活，过着现实的生活方式，像个机械式的定时上班下班，每天重复同样的程序。
然后，慢慢的让人性给机械化，就连最深处的思恋也得从机械方程式中除去。

逍遥的日子中，没有方程式，只有我行我素，让我的人性扩张到极限。
没有了公事，剩下真空的自己，眼里只能看到你，脑海中不停有你的出现。
我才发现，我还是很想你。

惊险一飚

直飙汗水的一段旅途，竟然会发生在小猪的身上。
离乡多时，终于要回乡了。 因为小猪的论文辩证临时更改到下午时间，所以打算让她载我到地铁站，然后自己搭地铁到机场。可是小猪盛意自荐要送我一程，我也就恭谨不如从命咯。其实也不时来不及的，只是会比较赶一点罢了。
随着小猪一起到她的学院参观，等待她的论文辩证完毕后就要去机场。 去着机场的路途上，小猪和我很兴奋也很气愤的聊着刚刚论文辩证的经过。聊着聊着，太透入， 太激动了，竟然在高速公路上错过了转进机场的岔路，所以只好到芙蓉的出口回转。 那是离下一站一段很远的岔路。

小猪眼看有点不对劲了，平时开车不过一百时速，现在竟然飚到了百四时速，让我都有一点为她担心。
很奇怪的，皇上不急太监急， 要赶飞机的应该是我，但我反而却很平静，而她却踩尽了油门冲， 这应该是她有史以来驾车最快的一次吧。 看着她的紧张，我都紧张不来了，只要求她安全小心就好，也做好了心理准备随时要搭下一趟飞机或巴士了。心想，坐不到飞机，就去找戴兰姐（小猪妈）吃个晚餐，再上巴士。奇怪吧？在最应该紧张的时刻，我的心竟然会是如此的平静。那时的我，只记得要祷告，感恩有这样的一位朋友，然后把一切都交托给神。
为什么感恩呢？小猪其实才拿车五天，很少驾KL的路，对这一带的路也很不熟悉，却愿意的送我一程。 看到这么用心的她，我还能怎样的生气呢？我心想，她应该还比我更心急，更气自己啦。
峰回路转，跟着路牌在陌生的地带赶车，间中还差点又再错失路口； 虽然登记处差点关门了，可是最终还是赶得及登入。惊险的一着。。。。

小猪， 下次要好好认路哦！！哈哈。。。。。

trip in KL

Reaching penang on 2330 and rushing for the bus to KL on 0000..........THANKS GOD i were in time to catch up the bus...and thanks to Roy and Chok Kim for the ride....never expect to have 2 of u senior to send me...Thanks ya..

taking a long journey of 4 hour, finally i reach Puduraya.....sitting in KFC to wait for YN to come and pick me up.......the initial plan was to go to her house rest for a while and then go do the Visa thing tgther, but she suddenly come out with smthing else so I juz hav to change my plan.......asking her to drop me at the Ampang McD, then msg Hui Yi to fetch me when she awake....well, waiting in McD is not a wasting time, I can online and reading there....if u were a backpacker, u will understand it......this is a relaxing trip, nothing to rush...and since time is not an important thing.....so can juz sitting there...looking wht was going on in KL city from 5am to 9am.....
Walking on KL street, with my 9kg back and a laptop bag, walking thru the crowed of OL and OG......I juz felt tht I am glad...walking and looking around without direction, yet all ppl around me were rushing for their life....this remind me of the a word of wisdom: How many time had we miss smthing good passing us in our time of rushing? Smtime perhaps, we need to stop our frantic pace, to observe and listen to ppl around us, then only we realise of our restless life..

around 10am, Hui yi come to fetch me with her new car and I am her 2nd passenger. I stay at her place for 2 day. Is a good time to meet her and others else, a fellowship long to be connect. although she still got defence of her thesis on cmong day, yet she still accompany me to the bank and ambassy of Canada to do my Visa. It spent our whole day, yet we havnt done the thing. but at least we knw very well of wht to be done on the next day for the procedure of the application. today had go to bank for 4 time, to do bank draft, change bank draft and cancel bank draft....haha....it is actually not a complicated procedure, is juz tht we are not familiar with it....

in the night time, join HY to meet her other seremban fren for dinner and activity, which most of them I alrd knw. have the chance to meet up Jun Sze and others. I have KL traffic, it take us 1 hour plus to travel from Wangsa Maju to kuchai lama, the traffic were badly jam......they actually plan to go to Lychee house to eat the choc from Belgium, which they went ther for honeymoon, and oso to c their honeymoon pic....i dunno them b4, but i knw them now....seeing of thier way of conversation, can really felt tht they are truly like 1 family. talk about the road, talk about church activity, talk about HY unexpected behavior...bla bla bla........although HY always bcm the target of bully of everyone, yet everyone include herself is enjoying....the whole night were in laughter and joy......

on the second day, I ask HY to juz drop me at lrt and I can go do my visa thing by myself. it was only a 10 min journey of lrt from wangsa maju to ampang park, walking a short distance to the embassy of Canada to do my thing. actually need to meet YN on 9am, but i reach there around 850, so I went up 1st. i was lucky to meet friendly and pleasant security guard and embassy operator, everything were done very fine. I finish all the thing b4 915am, and then YN only reach. haha....well, since I still have to come back to collect my Visa at 3pm, we walk around KL to find money changer, and to window shopping. We went to Chi Chiong Gai, near Puduraya, then walk from Puduraya to Sungai Wang. I bough some electronic thing at Low Yatt, and then go to Sungai Wang for a walk..........was actually plan to meet Henry ytday but both of us were not in convenient, so we make it to meet for lunch later.
Thing were happen so coincident, we do not plan at first to meet at where, but both of us were juz going to the same destination without prior notice, Low yatt.....I went there juz to walk and shop,  and he went there to took his free laptop....we meet up and then have lunch tgther at a janapese restaurant just at the ground floor of Law Yatt plaza. This Japaness restaurant were very original, and the food really nice...worth for its price.......Thanks to Henry for his generousity for treaten us..........bck to Langkawi we go to unkaizan lah...Hmm..never expect Henry can talk so much with YN.... after the lunch, Henry fetch us to the canada embassy........haha...thanks for the free ride as well...hehe...
Is so gooooooooood moment to catch up with Henry, an old fren tht knw since 7yr old, a part of my childhood was with presence of him.....

back to the embassy, then only I knw that I was lucky. YN told me tht the guide and the opperator she came last time was different ppl, and they are not as friendly like these....well, I was thinking of GOD blessing me, and putting all this good pieces around me....in very short time, all thing were done.......and I finally get my Visa, so relief now....

Since the time were still early, we went to KLCC just to have a walk and a drink. and I need to find a place to charge my hp, I cant contact HY to fetch me if cant found a place to charge it..haha....I took some pic of the christmas deco and a pretty christmas lady....walking around KLCC...and then take a rest at DOMe, I was able to charge my hp there..hehe..

night time, me and HY being invite by Ru Jie to join kepong ppl to watch movie at wanU. this is the 1st time HY drive to wanU, we drive according to qi sheng instruction until WanU, but we miss up the last junction....haha...then we turn and turn around to find back the way...it took arnd 30 min during the missing...haha..but still finally we reach there...hhaha...funny experience....

We have dinner at Carl's Jr, a very HUGE burger....then went to movie- Christmas Carol 3D...this is my 3rd 3D movie if not mistaken.......the movie were ok ok  only, is very tired to listen to the dialog, coz is spoken in a very weird slaunge...a bit like the dutch i think...and tired oso to watch 3D....bt the meaning of the movie is good...c how a stingy wicked old man change to a joyful and naughty man........

have great time with Ru jie oso, accompany me along in the WanU...

well....going to finish my KL trip and back to langkawi....

a great time to be with Hui Yi, Jun Sze, Henry, Ru Jie, and YN.....but miss up the chance to talk with Wilson, was my good pal once....and also Zhi Xin, a langkawi fren stay in KL.........

althoug we are not always tgther, not even chat always, but still can c the bonding between us....

Last Polymer Gathering

After 4 year of being coursmate, this is the 1st and biggest gathering of Polymer intake 2007/08. Althougt there are still some not joning us.

ok, I know this blog should be written long time ago before my sarawak trip. coz this gathering is on the day before my sarawak trip.

20/11, where all polymer ppl had finish their exam. and to celebrate this BIG day, we have a crazy moment in penang. 2pm depart from usm, we went to watch the movie 2012 tgther in gurney plaza. after movie, we went to buffet steamboat at Xuan Sheng near the Island Plaza. Dinner finsih at around 1030pm, then we went to autocity Old Town cafe to continue our journey until 2am. it total 12 hours of gathering tgether. hmm...incredible hor, never tot this gang, that gang and tht gang can be so ngam...haha....continue the spirit ya...
hmm....dint elebrate much on the detail, coz the memory start to blur, only left pieces in my mind.

I would like to forward my appreciation for all who come- cs,ch,kf,cl,yn.yh,sy,wk,jh,hh....hopefully not left anyone....and for those who cant join us....next time lah...haha....if still got next time...this is probably the last gathering of polymer for me and yn, as u all knw tht we are going to exchange, and whenwe come back u all alrd grad and work.....so i taken it as a farewell oso....

浪迹沙洲（十）- 古晋 Kuching

This is the last day of Sarawak trip.

Me, Qin Mei and Shi Hao grab this last opportunity to visit to the Kuching Cultural Village near the Damai Beach Resort. It was a great experience, where u can see different kind of orang asli, got tribe of Iban, Melanau, Kadazan, Ulu, Bidayu.....you can found that every tribe have their own cultural, way of life, the design of their house, their tradision custume, and even hair design....interesting??haha....
there is also a cultural dance perfomance, where you can see different kind of dance and some special skills of orang asli...i was amaze by their skill in using the blowpipe to hunt, one of the performace was bust the balloon by using blowpipe from a very far distance.......as a future engineer, we start to think of how strong is the force of blowing can be made the "bullet" to travel so straight and fast....

Derek and Loong Wei went to the cultural village before, so they dint join us. They went to buy the bird nest, which my mum wan it....Sarawak bird nest is very cheap!! no wonder people wanna come here to buy.

We taken our lunch in the Sarawak largest shopping mall- The Spring........which is actually smaller then Penang gurney and Queensbay, maybe even smaller then Prangin Mall.....hahaa....maybe Sawarak people just dun like to shopping.

and here come to the end of our trip.....after the window shopping, we direct back to prepare for tonight flight...

my flight is 9 from kuching , and reach penang at 11:15pm. Thanks God the flight not delayed, coz I have to rushing for 1150pm bus  to KL............haha....

C ya...Sarawak.....probably wont come for second time...haha....next target is Sabah....to conquere the Mount of Kinabalu. 

浪迹沙洲 (九) - 古晋 Kuching

今天是星期天，也是主日。
来了砂州这么久，都没有去留意日子的流逝。 若不是主日，也许真的不知道每天过的是星期几。

八点钟，大家作好准备就出门享用早餐， 然后去十点半的崇拜。
会觉得奇怪吗？ 居然要用两个半小时的时间去吃早餐。
Derek 带了我们就去吃最拽但又最好吃的干捞面。 拽？？
这间老店， 你竟然不能去点你要吃什么， 而必须在那里等他过来问你要吃什么。
基本上，也只有两种面。 普通干捞面 和空的干捞面配猪什汤。
当我们到那间老店时， 店里已经是满座的，还有蛮多的人站等， 当中也有是来打包的。像对的对面的店却是冷清清，老板都坐的打苍蝇。
我们等了差不多半个小时才等到位子腾出给我们，坐了下来又等了差不多半个小时才等到我们的面。
四个男生都叫了猪什汤配面，只有沁梅是吃普通干捞面。
不要看他的干捞面很普通，其实不普通哦！
面的咬劲非常好，吃下去在口里咬还会QQ的。很好吃！！！
他的猪什汤也很够味，猪肉新鲜， 特别是猪肝烫得不太熟，刚刚好。 有吃猪肝的人应该懂猪肝要烫得刚刚好不容易。
吃完我们也就赶着去教会了。

我们参与了古晋晋光堂的崇拜，也就是我们昨晚参与的青年团的教会。
感谢神，这是我第一次参与所谓的降临节崇拜。 卫理公会基本上是没有这样的崇拜的。
降临节其实就是圣诞节前的四个星期。
约柜上放了五根蜡烛，四根较矮的紫色蜡烛形成四方形围着一根长长白白的蜡烛。今天是第一个星期所以只点燃一根蜡烛，下个星期就会点燃两根蜡烛，以此推类到圣诞节当天就点燃第五根蜡烛 。
为了配合降临节，整个的崇拜礼仪也与以往的不同。有次序地带出基督时光是盼望的信息，很壮观。
崇拜中也只有唱圣诗没有短诗，而且圣诗的信息都指向基督是盼望， 传道的信息也是“基督是盼望”

既然今天是主日，是安息日。 我们也同样的停下游玩的脚步，享受安息。
与阿武一起吃完午餐后就回家休息。 晚餐吃完后就到Derek 朋友的家坐坐，他刚搬进新屋，所以去看看咯。
然后吃完夜宵后就回家休息了。

浪迹沙洲（八）- 古晋

I would like to write about the trip today in Kuching in english...just bcoz of tired of writing in chinese..

ok, here come the story...

Thank to Derek and his family for the hospitality. this morning, we having breakfast with his family together before his parent and sister back to their hometown- Song. a place between Sibu and Kapit.
I had tried the Sarawak Laksa, and my bro ordered the Kuching famous Koh Lo Mee. Well, it is definitely that Kuching food is much more better then other place in Sarawak, especially Sibu. haha.....
The laksa here is not the same as we found in peninsular Malaysia, it is more like our curry mee. Or juz exactly the Singapore Laksa. The one I order, is not bad. and Koh Lo mee, is really better then Gan Pua.
Oh ya, one more special thing in Kuching is the 3 layer Tea. U can found it everywhere in Kuching.

after the breakfast, we take about 1 and half hour time to travel to Anna Rais Village, a Melanau heritage village. It was a long long journey, but is worth. U can enjoy the flora and fauna on the way to the village, the feeling is just like you enter a forest, because its only have 1 way along the road and everything around you is GREEN.

we visit the Rumah Panjang of Melanau people in Anna Rais Village, although it is a tourist spot, but still there are residence in the rumah panjang. We were welcome to the rumah panjang with their orang asli wine, Tuak. A kind of their tradition liquor made from the Padi,tampui and other secret recipe.

     
There are also a room where they keep the human skull. According to a tour guide, these skull were used to keep the spirit of the death. See from the piture on the right ahnd side, there should be a fire burning 24 hour on the location of the canon, and the skull is hand above the beam. They believe that the skull have to kept warm so that the spirit will be trap inside the skull, this also help to dry the skull and to preserve the skull. The skull must be taken from a strong guy, woman ,old fork and kid are not taken as this is a taaboo .

There are lot of thign to be visit in this rumah panjang. You can learn of their culture, see how they live, it is a good experience.  you can see they still using fire wood to cook and boil water, a lot of wood were dried under the sun outside their house.

  

we also have the opportunity to visit the hot spring near the village. It is very weird as the hot spring is juz a very small part on the side of the river. the water is very very hot, I can only manage to put my feet into the water for a while only. BUT, the water around the spring is the cold water from the river...AMAZING!! You can see that there are bubble come out from the underneath, which is the sources of the heat. A local people told us that there are still a lot of hot spring can be found along the down stream of the river at the other side.

after the visit to Anna Rais village, we on our journey to tried the famous PORK satay in kuching. it is delicious and special, u cant found easily in peninsular malaysia.

at the night, we have the opportunnity to join the  church fellowship in Kuching Methodist church. It is great to worship the Lord where ever we are.

浪迹沙洲（七）- 诗巫 - 古晋

在诗巫的最后一天。
今天有国梁作我们的司机，陪我们走完这诗巫的最后旅程。

早上，去了巧玲介绍的小店吃福州人的鼎边湖。
鼎边湖和西马的板面汤用的是一样的汤底和配料， 不同的是它的粉。鼎边糊的粉是一片片的，用米搓成， 表面有点粗糙； 但吃起来的口感还真的不错， 值得推荐给西马人来试一试。

我们也趁最后的时间到了念真的教会去观摩和拜访，念真附属的教会是诗巫的SIB教会，就在卫理神学院对面。
从她口中才知道之前她的教会因为灵恩的关系而导致分裂，目前留下的教友也只剩下一半的人数，是很令人心酸的事情。
之后也有机会和她教会的传道人聊天。
聊天的话题中，也能隐约看到他们对灵恩的反感。

对于灵恩，我只能用说：
如果灵恩活动是从神而来，那它本就应该造就教会，建立神的肢体； 但当灵恩导致教会分裂，使人害怕，甚至彷徨， 那就更应改检讨灵恩运动是否是从神而来的。神是绝对不可能混乱他自己的子民，更不可能使他的教会分裂。

之后我们就赶上去古晋的船，前往我们的下一个旅站。
搭了四个小时多的船，终于平安抵达古晋。 感谢神，一路上的船都很安稳，也没什么海浪。

Derek 是我们古晋的导游，也是我们古晋的安息所，他专程为了我们买机票回来古晋陪我们游玩。
我们先到Derek家休息， 然后就和他的父母和妹妹， 还有他的朋友一起吃晚餐。他父母很款待我们，还特地叫了两大盘的螃蟹招待我们。
东马的螃蟹比西马的便宜太多了， 这里的螃蟹一公斤才十四零吉，西马的可能要二十多零吉了。

较后我们也去会合 john , 一起到河边走，还坐了一小段距离的小船到对面的DUN去。
这里的夜景迷人，我们坐在河边的提， 观赏河边的夜景，看着水上的倒影，吹着凉凉的风，聊天。很轻松自在。
最可惜的是我的相机拿去充电了，没能把这美丽的景色拍下留念，与大家分享。
然后又去回合我们的长老-阿武， 相约一起去喝茶。
听着他讲工作黑暗的一面，也不听的劝我们不要做工程师，要我们转行， 工程师的工作真的不好做！！

一天过了， 等着弟二天长屋的到来。。。。。

浪迹沙洲（六）- 诗巫

在诗巫的第三天，今天的行程比较轻松，比较空。

一大早，我们又出发去寻找美食了。
或许是舌头太挑剔的关系，目前在诗巫都没找到能满足它欲望的美食。又，或许， 是两岸的美食文化不同，东马人口中的美食在西马人口中都变得淡淡无味，没什么特别，都是些不甜不辣不酸不苦的食物。西马人习惯吃较重口味的，而东马人都吃惯清清的。是吗？或许只是诗巫吧？哈哈。。

早餐，到了《同乐馆》吃了福州的咸菜米粉，他们福州话叫 hou ngan zhao wai， 应该是这样的读音吧。
有点像我们西马的酸菜汤，不过我们都没有这样的做法。这是蛮有特色的食物，值得推荐给西马人。
虽然不是特别好吃，但至少它的口味特别，味道也不错。
看到很多桌都有鸡脚，所以我们也试了这里的鸡脚。 很好吃， 非常入味。
这鸡脚有先炸过，再拿去焖， 皮也不黏骨，带点辣味，应该用了辣椒干一起焖。
也试了这里的干盘，嗯， 普通咯。 味道还不错， 比昨天的还好吃。

      

  


接着我们就去全马最大的菜市场逛。
这里的巴刹也和我们的不太一样，他们的档口很多，但每个档口买的东西很少； 我们西马的是档口不多却五脏俱全。
而且，这里的巴刹有很多古玲精怪的东西，卖得鸡都是生鸡，用报纸包着鸡，一排排摆着卖。
又卖树根，卖老鼠，卖Hamster, 就连豆芽都是很长的，在西马没有人要长长的豆芽。

然后到二楼吃焖的供饼，用卤汁一起焖，还有女儿饼。
叫了五味汤，好像和白开水一样，淡淡无味； 有的叫了 cendol， 也是一样， 而且凉粉的份量比 cendol 还多。

过后我们就去念真的家拜访。
她家的四朵花都很白，只有他的大哥比较黑，应该是后天工作的关系。
到了念真家，她也为我们预备了很多小吃。
有水果，供饼， 红毛榴莲水， 糕点。
念真还特地买了很多不一样的供饼给我们尝试，每样都试一个， 肚子都有点不耐了。
为念真一家人作万祝福祷告后我们就前去国梁家了。

到了国梁家， 他母亲也为我们预备了午餐，特别预备了福州的八珍汤给我们。
我们西马人特别喜欢他母亲做的排骨，东马人却异口同声地说太咸了。

晚上，我们参加了诗巫最大的卫理公会-福源堂的祷告会。
祷告会中，有两个刚毕业的 神学生分享他们的见证。 都有激烈人心。
祷告会比我们预期的早完，所以我们就直接去吃晚餐了。

今晚，我们到了诗巫一带最出名的餐馆-洪福。
我们点了四道菜-金香螃蟹，菲利槟猪脚，奶油虾，芋头杂菜。
这里最出名的就是猪脚和螃蟹， 果然如闻名般，赞！！
这一餐算是我们在诗巫吃过最好吃的一餐了，终于让我的舌头满意了。

浪迹沙洲（五）- 诗巫

在诗巫的第二天。

诗巫其实不是很大的城市，很快就能兜完。
我们的导游带我们去了诗巫的名胜地-石山公园。
那里，我们还遇见一般的主日学小孩在唱诗歌赞美神。
石山公园，听得陆说是以前日本军炸出了两个大湖，所以现在把那两个大湖用作养鱼。
那里的环境幽美，有很多很多的鱼，爬到三顶还能瞰往整个诗巫。

较后我们也去了卫理神学院和卫理福音书局。
认识这里神学院的一路走来的发展，认识他们的事工；在卫理福音书局我也买了一本双语圣经，顺道帮传道买一些复印单张。
原本计划要去卫理的历史走廊，却发现没有开，只好白走一趟。
我们也到了小光和德陆的家拜访。

今天吃了很多！！！！！！！
早餐吃干盘和供饼，都是福州人的食物。然后又去茶坊吃午餐。
到了小光家，他婆婆也为我们预备福州面线，有吃了很多的水果， 他婆婆很好客。
晚餐，以妮妈妈也准备了红酒面线，还有红枣鸡。

夜宵，我们到了cafe-cafe 去。
是一个很好的喝茶地方，气氛不错，这里的水的价钱还蛮合理的。
念真，和她姐姐-念芝， 还有Johnny 都过来与我们会合。
稍候也去了江边公园 ，不过其实也没什么特别，只是供人拍拖的地方。

沁梅开始对面线和干盘起了反感，看到都怕了。
其实干盘也没他们说得这么好吃，就很普通的酱油捞面，只是面条布一样罢了。
说好吃，也没深么特别好吃。
以前没来东马，听他们把干盘说的天上有地上没有，人间美食；原来都是一个骗局！！！
