Do all the good you can!!!

A word from the founder of Methodist church, John Wesley.

" Do all the good you can,
by all the means you can,
in all the ways you can,
in all the places you can,
to all the people you can,
as long as you can."

There was a sharing from a friend recently, which some other people share with she, and she looking to my opinion.
Is like this, a friend of her felt hopeless and disappointed with his circle of friend now. He was trying his best to treat the people around him whole heartily, but he just felt that no one around him is really treat him back as how he treat them.
He felt that the connection between human is very weak and fragile, maybe not even worth to put much effort in building and maintaining this connection.

well, what I see is a person in desperate of love. Desperate of being concern and love from others. When this desire is not satisfy by others, there come the sorrow and disappointment.  

Looking back to the word by Wesley, he actually told us that , doing good to other whole heartily is not asking for any feedback. And when you really do that, this is a true work of whole heartily.
John Wesley, he had spent his whole life in doing good deed to others, just like the famous mother Theresa. They spare their life for others good, and trying all their best by all means to help others. In their effort of helping others, they also facing oppression from others. But, had they ever give up? or asking others to do the same thing to them? Both of them were die in their service of other, and they gain respect from all over the nation.
Doing good to other or treat other in good with a motive of wanting other to do the same thing to you, you may end up in disappoint, and furthermore giving up to doing good.

There are one common thing of this both people, they serve the same GOD, Lord Jesus. In their means to helping others, they actually found the joy and peace of serving others. And in this way, their are sustain by GOD, not by human. In Christianity, we said the GOD is love. And for GOD love us first, so we need to love others as well. Although in doing good to other may not having any return, but our return is on heaven, not from human.
Believe it, there are always a paradox . When you doing good without asking return, you will gain a great return; but when you doing good with asking return, you may gain nothing.

Learn to do good, and become good.!!!
